He has spent the initial days of his career developing primary and secondary legislation and honing skills of working closely with the cross-government department, Parliamentarians, MPs and Peers. Developing Administrative Justice policies and shaping Tribunal rules have been my core skill areas. He has worked on the UK’s exit from the European Union where he was responsible for making consequential changes in UK laws and developing cooperation agreements with the UK’s close allies. Pushkar played an instrumental role in leading UK negotiations with the UK, Canada and Japan to name a few. In his last role in the Foreign Office, Pushkar represented UK Government in building strong ties with India.
